From bc36347fd024f19441ca5bd5517821762d7b76c0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mikey Sklar Date: Fri, 23 Oct 2026 12:52:17 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] CI: install only the x86-64 mingw compiler for mpy-cross Makefile.static-mingw only uses x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc. The mingw-w64 metapackage pulls in 25 packages (277 MB): both i686 and x86-64, both thread models, and g++. This package is about 60 MB and registers the same win32 compiler the job already ended up using. On days the Azure Ubuntu mirror is slow, the old install took 35-100 min.
