The Kerning category adapts five Apache-2.0 fontlab-samples scripts retained in
fontlab-python-examples/_old/part4/fontlab-samples/samples/:
kerning_classes_browser.py, kerning_compare_masters.py, kerning_list_browser.py,
kerning_missing_pairs.py and kerning_text_preview.py. Source and destination
SHA-256 mappings are recorded in migration.json. Native access and shared
lifecycle adaptations live in fontlab-fontlabapp (see its NOTICE). Every original
control is retained; error containment and complete-ink proof fitting are added.

Five additional Kerning editors adapt these Apache-2.0 sources from the same
retained samples directory: kerning_copy_between_masters.py,
kerning_pair_editor.py, kerning_scale_values.py, kerning_round_values.py and
kerning_remove_small.py. All controls/actions and original interfaces are
retained. Shared calculations, multi-master preflight/writing and common UI
rendering now live in App. Snapshot refusal, explicit-zero insertion and Refresh
recovery are added. The five original source/destination hashes are appended to
migration.json without changing prior mappings. Native acceptance is pending.

Selected Kerning editors adapt Apache-2.0 kerning_exceptions_finder.py and
kerning_pairs_from_text.py from the same retained fontlab-samples archive.
App's kerning_selection.py shares exception precedence, word parsing, explicit/
effective previews and ticked plans; the existing complete batch writer and
owned dialog shell provide snapshot guards, Refresh and history. Scriptmix
migration.json appends both source/destination hashes; originals are unchanged.

Proof tools adapt the Apache-2.0 fontlab-samples proof_glyph_grid.py,
proof_text_by_master.py, proof_waterfall.py and proof_word_finder.py from the
same retained archive. App proof.py shares exact embedded words, Unicode/slash
parsing, ordered sizes, advance-only runs and transformed outline assembly;
_proof_views.py preserves the three actual native painters, and _proof_dialog.py
reuses owned dialog lifecycle with stale-font/failed-read/paint guards. Scriptmix
retains original controls/classes/keys/globals and appends exact original/menu
SHA-256 mappings. No source archive input was modified or removed.

Masters report provenance
=========================

The four Masters tools adapt Apache-2.0 masters_overview.py,
masters_width_chart.py, masters_glyph_weight_chart.py and
masters_compatibility_check.py from retained fontlab-samples sources.
App masters.py shares actual reads, twelve-step transformed contour areas,
counter nesting and own-contour structural signatures; _masters_views.py
retains original labelled lines/grouped bars. _masters_dialog.py extends the
existing Proof/Names shell and paint boundary, with complete initial UI,
source-bound actions and owned cleanup. Scriptmix retains every original
control, class, key and native scenario interface; migration.json appends four
exact source/destination SHA-256 pairs. Originals remain unchanged.

Metrics and outline inspector provenance
=======================================

The four read-only tools adapt Apache-2.0 metrics_spacing_string_preview.py,
metrics_width_table.py, outlines_contour_order_view.py and
outlines_node_statistics.py from the retained fontlab-samples archive.
App inspectors.py preserves original parsing, missing/zero/auto rules, rounded
width progressions, raw node-polygon winding and contour/node statistics; actual
transformed paths and repeated reads reuse accepted Proof/Masters helpers.
_inspectors_views.py retains the complete original spacing and contour diagrams
on the existing safe painter boundary. _inspectors_dialog.py reuses the owned
Masters/Proof/Names lifecycle and selection guards. Scriptmix migration.json
retains exact original/menu SHA-256 pairs; all originals remain unchanged.

Read-only Components provenance
==============================

Five complete inspectors adapt Apache-2.0 components_compatibility.py,
components_count_badges.py, components_missing_bases.py, components_report.py and
components_where_used.py from fontlab-python-examples/_old/part4/fontlab-samples-L1/samples/.
App components.py shares ordered component/count/offset/missing/reverse-index
reads, plain source snapshots and existing native-verified placed outline paths.
_components_dialog.py extends existing Proof/Names binding, signal and Close
lifecycle; _components_views.py retains the complete original badge-card painter.
Scriptmix retains original controls/class/key/helper/scenario interfaces and
appends exact source/destination hashes to migration.json. Originals remain
unchanged. Reviewed Appv0.2.13/Scriptmixv1.0.9 native/artifact acceptance is
recorded in WORK.md.

Read-only Anchors provenance
===========================

Anchor Cloud, Anchor Compatibility and Mark Attachment Preview adapt the
Apache-2.0 anchors_cloud_view.py, anchors_compatibility_report.py and
anchors_mark_attachment_preview.py from retained fontlab-samples-L1 sources.
App anchors.py preserves original frequency/order, auto-layer exclusions, raw
anchor snapshots and rounded attachment arithmetic. Existing Components/Proof
helpers supply placed outlines, source guards, owned lifecycle and the exact
None-error painter adapter. _anchors_views.py retains both complete original
diagrams. Scriptmix keeps every original control/class/key/helper/scenario
interface and appends exact original/menu SHA-256 pairs. All originals remain;
reviewed Appv0.2.14/Scriptmixv1.0.10 artifact/native and independent downloaded-tag
acceptance are recorded in WORK.md.

Read-only glyph review provenance
=================================

Select Unreferenced Glyphs adapts Apache-2.0 cleanup_unused_glyphs_report.py
from retained fontlab-samples-C4; four original copies are byte-identical.
Interpolation Preview adapts Apache-2.0 masters_interpolation_preview.py from
retained fontlab-samples-L1, retaining the defensive QColor/palette fixes.
Nine copies match L1; L2 only removes those protections. Complete calculations,
controls, diagram and public helper interfaces remain. Shared lifecycle/painter
boundaries come from existing App helpers. migration.json retains original and
menu SHA-256 pairs. All inputs remain; reviewed Appv0.2.15/Scriptmixv1.0.11
artifact/native and independent downloaded-tag acceptance are recorded in WORK.md.

Live Node Coordinates provenance
================================

Node Coordinates Panel adapts Apache-2.0 outlines_node_coordinates_panel.py
from retained fontlab-samples-L1. Nine original copies match; L2 only removes
palette protections. App node_coordinates.py retains complete own-node order,
consecutive measurements and formatting. CurrentGlyph resolves actual active
context with explicit None checks. Shared Names heading/lifecycle and Masters
tables supply the UI; timer/Copy guards clear incomplete or stale values.
Original sources remain. Reviewed Appv0.2.16/Scriptmixv1.0.12 pass artifact/native
and independent downloaded-tag acceptance; receipts are recorded in WORK.md.

Compact Master Switcher provenance
=================================

Master Switcher adapts Apache-2.0 masters_switcher_palette.py from retained
fontlab-samples sources. Nine copies match central; L2 removes palette safeguards.
Original location formatting and existing master_order calculation are retained.
MastersDialog supplies owned theme/binding/refresh/Close; added guards verify the
actual master choices and visible labels before an explicit target switch.
Three columns retain the three-master row while wrapping larger master sets.
All originals remain. Reviewed Appv0.2.17/Scriptmixv1.0.13 pass source/artifact/native/prior60 and
independent downloaded-tag acceptance, recorded in WORK.md.

Guide tools provenance
======================

Font Guides Panel, Grid Generator and Metric Reference Lines adapt Apache-2.0
fontlab-samples sources. Eight copies of each match central; L2 only removes
text contrast styling. The complete guide controls and grid painter are retained
on shared owned UI/painter boundaries. Native-history safeguards refuse entire
unsafe batches before notification. All originals remain. Reviewed Appv0.2.18/
Scriptmixv1.0.14 pass source/artifact/native/prior61 and independent downloaded-tag
acceptance, recorded in WORK.md.

Guide rewrite editors provenance
===============================

Clear Glyph Guides, Copy Guides Between Masters and Guide List Editor adapt
retained Apache-2.0 fontlab-samples sources. Complete filters, target controls,
width scaling and editable rows are retained on the owned guide lifecycle.
Native guide copies preserve retained geometry, colour and tags; hints remain.
Shared preflight refuses unsafe automatic dependants before any batch mutation.
All originals remain. Reviewed Appv0.2.19/Scriptmixv1.0.15 pass source/artifact/
native/prior64 and independent downloaded-tag acceptance, recorded in WORK.md.

Copy Anchors From Glyph provenance
=================================

Adapted from the retained Apache-2.0 fontlab-samples-L1 anchor-copy source.
Preserves complete source completion, merge/replace, width scaling and master
controls. Shared App support adds late native binding, raw source guards,
preconstructed writes and measured native-history safeguards. Existing pins
retain native style; new pins use FontLab name-derived appearance defaults.
The original source and independent L1 scenario remain retained. Candidate
acceptance and the pending release/fresh-tag gates are recorded in WORK.md.

Copy Anchors acceptance update: reviewed Appv0.2.21/Scriptmixv1.0.17 pass all
source/artifact/native/prior67 and downloaded-tag R053 gates, including settled
refusal-layout geometry. Earlier candidate tags are retained with their failed
visual receipt. No original source is removed. See WORK.md for exact evidence.
