Hi everyone,
I just created a new custom step called
decision.Within workflows, you often need clear routing decisions. Using general-purpose chat models and parsing JSON output can be fragile for these cases. System One models are designed specifically for this problem, which is why this step integrates them to evaluate bounded questions against your workflow context.
Key Features:
Typed outputs: The step returns validated, strict
choice, numericscore, and probability (noul) answers instead of unstructured text.Direct branching: Results and native backend probabilities are placed directly into the workflow state. You can access them via
{{ steps.<id>.output.<question>.* }}for immediate downstream branching.Pluggable backends: Jev is configured as the default HTTP backend, a Laya adapter is included, and you can supply custom backends via a Python module.
Installation:
The community catalog submission is currently pending, but you can install the v0.9.0 release directly from the archive:
