Batch the reviewed post-1.0 fixes: immutable scales, stable focus notifications, faster axis lookups, brush dragging and accessible labels, custom tooltip styles, fractional resize handling, and React client boundaries.
Add opt-in dodge compression and independent tick-line styling. Keep existing defaults and public package names unchanged. Include the approved private workspace rename and research-package cleanup.
Includes work from #169, #171, #172, and #173, with additional regression coverage. Addresses #168, #170, #174, #175, #176, #177, #178, #180, and #182. Documents compatible alternatives for #179, #181, and #183.

Release
Nine changesets produce a minor release, 1.1.0, for the twelve fixed-version public packages. No breaking defaults changes.
