Description

@mbien

Apache NetBeans version

Apache NetBeans 32 latest release candidate

What happened

I think the / sorts wrong in some cases, e.g if it matches against a -.

I have maven and maven-indexer in the same folder. As soon I open maven-indexer the sort breaks.

without maven-indexer (good)

with maven-indexer (bad)

note how it slips between the parent and the children of maven

How to reproduce

  • checkout maven and maven-indexer and put both into the same folder,
  • open maven with some of its sub projects
  • now open maven-indexer and observe that it is put at the wrong position which causes the indentation to break

see screenshots above

Did this work correctly in an earlier version?

    sorting by comparing individual path components with each other would likely solve it
