Adds a local Mobile Dev MCP Apps preview for Cursor on Apple Silicon Macs. Cursor can launch the existing server through generated absolute-path configuration or a relocatable bundle containing a Cursor plugin manifest. Standard host context, sizing and display-mode handling replace Codex-only assumptions, and Codex updater activity is disabled outside Codex.

Includes shared compatibility commit a6aae70; the separate VS Code branch contains that same prerequisite, so either PR can merge first. Existing Claude UI compatibility work is reused without depending on the Claude branch or its distribution changes.

Validation:

  • Full regression suite: 808 passed, 1 skipped on Node 24.0.1 with NODE_OPTIONS=--disable-warning=ExperimentalWarning.
  • Development build, configuration generation and Cursor packaging passed.
  • Archive extracted into a path with spaces: stdio startup, UI resources, environment overrides, telemetry opt-out and updater isolation passed with a temporary home and minimal PATH.
  • Existing stream/input/context telemetry is preserved; standard display-mode handling remains instrumented. No native telemetry changes.

Draft until live Cursor rendering, conversation handoff, simulator input, Android H.264 and physical-iOS HEVC have been checked. Automated package tests do not boot devices. Setup and manual validation steps are in docs/cursor.md. No marketplace submission or public release is included.

Closing; we'll restart this from scratch after the Claude Desktop cleanup in #34.
