Description

Keep the current User Profile step visible until the next step is ready. Email and phone entry forms and the MFA method picker remain pending during preparation, then transition directly to verification, authenticator setup, or backup codes without an intermediate loading flash. Existing Verify and Regenerate actions prepare their destination before opening its dialog.

Preparation failures stay retryable on the source screen without creating duplicate contacts. Add passkey also uses the existing button spinner while preserving its label and size.

To verify, delay preparation requests while adding an email, phone, or authenticator, or generating backup codes. The previous screen should stay visible until the next screen has its data. Retry a failed send and check that the contact is created only once.
