Restore Chat to the left with the icon, header hover/focus, reopen, and resize behavior from the last left-side layout (
1249dac2^). Keep its drafts, saved widths, mounting order, shortcuts, compact views, and child-document controls.The main pane now switches between Document → Decisions → Build. Build contains the existing task review, workspace selection, approval, progress, blockers, recovery actions, and PR links without a modal. Task links still select Build; child documents keep their existing destinations.
Remove the Investigations tab and dialog. Proposals, workspace-owner approval, progress, and published results appear as cards in the document flow. Preserve shared selections, cancellation, retries, exports, and evidence decisions. Local execution still needs the workspace owner's approval. A failed card load has a retry control; a build lock preserves result filtering and owner cancellation while blocking document mutations.
Validation: 70 focused unit/domain tests; 39 browser checks across the focused run and corrected fixture reruns;
bun run types;bun run ci; production build. Credential-dependent live-agent tests skipped. Standards and behavior reviews have no remaining findings.The existing intermittent child history race recorded during the first Chat-only run remains outside this change. The latest child-document suite passed; no routing changes are included.
Chat on the left
Actual application with example content; the original header controls remain.
Build panel
Build replaces the document body while Chat stays available.
Inline investigation approval
The owner chooses a connected workspace directly in the document.
Inline results
Published example data, shared filters, selections, exports, and decision actions remain in the document flow.
