Python quarantine management: API guidance and possible next steps #1596
I’ve shared a small, read-only Python sample in draft PR #1595. It calls the transport used by ExchangeOnlineManagement directly. I understand this is not a published public API contract, and a successful request doesn’t establish support. The documented Exchange Admin API uses a similar cmdlet-style request structure, which prompted me to explore the approach.
Could something like this move forward as an experimental companion client, or would it need to wait for a published API contract and Graph metadata? Would Python support then be generated independently, or depend on work in another SDK, such as .NET?
I’d appreciate guidance on the appropriate direction and team to discuss this with.
Describe the solution you'd like.
Ideally, Graph SDK availability for Exchange Online admin scenarios, specifically the one that causes the most pain to big orgs, which is quarantine management.
Additional context?
If this approach is alright despite no published API contract, would like to make PR covering the rest of the quarantine operations.
