GitHub Actions runs every `shell: bash` block as `bash --noprofile --norc -e -o pipefail`, so a check that exits 3, 4 or 5 ended its step before the line that read the status. The annotation was never printed, the `if:` recovery never fired, and every freshness job was red with no way to act. Seven sites now capture with `cmd || rc=$?`, and a third shape in `tests/static/25-pipeline-traps.sh` reports the old one. `HISTORY/freshness-status-capture.md` has the measurement. The dbsnapshot export was never reading the bootstrap layer this run built. A stage's build args are its cache key, `BUILD_DATE` changes every run, and the export was handed `IMAGE_VERSION` alone, so it reused an older day's databases. riscv64 failed `Record the evidence` every run from 2026-10-05 on it. Both steps are now handed the same args, and `tests/static/68-evidence-snapshot.sh` fails if the two sets drift. `HISTORY/evidence-race.md`. With the checks able to act, the two stale pins they had been trying to bump are bumped here: the loong64 keyring to `archlinux-lcpu-keyring-20260906-1`, whose predecessor left the mirror on 2026-09-06, and the base image digest to what `latest` resolves to now. `gen-mirrorlist all` no longer regenerates an architecture the build matrix has disabled. That is the 403 the monthly mirror run hit on the three PowerPC ports, and `tests/static/75-architecture-set.sh` guards the read.
