I'd love to welcome Brittany Reynoso to the triage team! I have been already mentoring Brittany for some time and I think is time to give her triage privileges. Brittany works on Python at Meta and has been contributing to CPython since May 2026, with a lot of her work focused on making lazy imports work well across the interpreter and standard library. She has expanded the lazy-import test coverage, added CI coverage for lazy_imports=all, and tracked down tricky bugs such as a crash during interpreter shutdown and module __getattr__ interfering with lazy imports. She has also contributed CJK decoder optimizations and faster pdb startup. I have reviewed several of her PRs and worked with her on lazy-import fixes, and it's been a pleasure. She follows through on review feedback and has been friendly and constructive in discussions with other contributors. I think she'd be a great addition to the team and I'm happy to recommend her for triage membership. |
