Summary

Test plan

  • bun test tests/plugin-shutdown.test.ts
  • bun run check (format + lint + typecheck)
  • Manually: opencode serve with plugin loaded, kill -TERM <pid> → process exits

Checklist

  • Branch is based on main (do not open PRs from commits already on main)
  • bun test passes (or N/A)
  • bun run typecheck passes (or N/A)
  • bun run check passes (format + lint + typecheck; or N/A)
  • Docs / README updated when behavior or contribution process changes (N/A)

Signal listeners suppressed the runtime default exit, so opencode
web/serve survived SIGTERM indefinitely (tickernelz#408). After cleanup, drop
our listeners and re-deliver the signal without process.exit (tickernelz#114).
