Updates the Autopilot prerequisites to say Autopilot works with GitLab (gitlab.com and self-hosted) as well as GitHub, replacing the line that said GitLab was not supported.
GitLab projects, including the docs repository and any source repositories, need to be connected through GitLab OAuth in Git settings. The signed-commits note is now scoped to GitHub.
Based on a merged change that lets Autopilot run on deployments whose docs repository is on GitLab, opening merge requests there.
Duplicate check: searched open docs PRs for "GitLab" and "Autopilot" and checked recent merges to the Autopilot page; nothing covers this.
Note
Low Risk
Documentation-only change to the English Autopilot page; localized autopilot pages may still describe GitHub-only support until updated separately.
Overview
Updates Autopilot docs so GitLab is supported alongside GitHub, replacing the prerequisite that Autopilot did not support GitLab.
Prerequisites now call out gitlab.com and self-hosted GitLab, with separate setup steps: GitHub still uses the Mintlify GitHub App; GitLab uses GitLab OAuth in project Git settings for the docs repo and any source repos, and notes that Autopilot opens merge requests on GitLab.
The verified signed commits behavior is explicitly limited to GitHub (GitHub API signing and branch protection), since that detail does not apply the same way on GitLab.
